By popular demand...

Howdy To→doners!

We just added a much requested feature: the ability to view your full list of todos. You can access it by clicking the link on your count of things to do in the top grey navigation bar. You can pick any item off the list to do it. It's pretty simlpe, and a lot of you have been asking for it, so we finally broke with our philosophical opposition to it. Enjoy!

See your todo list here : http://todoneapp.com/do/list

As always, we ask you to please spread the word about To→done! Twitter, Facebook, email -- tell your friends and family!

Thanks,

The To→done Team.

Features you've all been waiting for!

Admittedly, these are some pretty basic things, but we're working through them in priority order! Apparently people want to log out of the web site, go figure? Seriously though, when we launched To→done, it was done using the Minimum Viable Product methodology. Things like logging out, changing passwords, etc, were not core to determining whether there was interest in To→done or not. Well, it's been enough time since launch, and even after our initial coverage has died down, there are still quite a few people using the app, which is great! So now we'll really begin to flesh it out in earnest.

We just launched the new version of To→done, which includes the following features:

  • Ability to logout. :)
  • Ability to change password. (via 'Settings')
  • Remove Wibya. Meh.
  • Added navigational bar to the top of the screen.
  • Added indicator of if you're logged in and who you're logged in as.
  • Displayed a count of the number of todos you have left.
  • Added 5 and 10 minute time intervals! 15 minute is the default; if you open the drop-down you'll see 5 and 10.

I strongly suspect the next feature we tackle will not be something simple like what's listed above. I think we're going to work on "@" contexts - e.g. the ability to say a certain ask is only for @work or @home, etc.

That's it for now! If you like To→done, please spread the word to your friends and family!

Email snafus

We've realized that over half of our users who've attempted to sign up have had their activation emails blocked because our server was not properly configured to appear "safe" (e.g. not a spammer) to many email systems. We're working with our hosting provider (Amazon EC2) to correct these issues. We'll send out a notification when the issue is corrected. We're sorry for the inconvenience and even more upset that 50% of people trying to use To→done have essentially been locked out!

Live and learn...

Update: If you did not receive your activation email, please email support@todoneapp.com and we will retrieve your activation link for you. Thanks!
